The Press Technician operates an offset printing press and fully understands the manufacturing and quality standards required to produce scan-able documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and run a variety of offset printing presses.

  • Learn the concepts of quality scan-able document production.

  • Monitors and accurately records paper consumption and plate remakes.

  • Perform basic and preventative maintenance on equipment, including daily cleaning.

  • Participate on teams to improve process, customer service, and lower operating costs.

Qualifications

  • 2 year Graphic Arts technical degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Additional skills/knowledge/abilities:

  • Job requires standing and walking throughout entire shift and lifting up to 60 pounds.

  • Read and understand schedules, job tickets and multi-part specification sheets.
