Job Summary

Purpose and Scope:

AECOM is pursuing a contract to support the Department of the Navy, Naval Undersea Warfare Center, and will provide O&M services for the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC). Location is Andros Island, Commonwealth of the Bahamas and work is anticipated to start July 2019. A Key management position on this contract is the AUTEC Enterprise Operations Manager.

This Manager will oversee, supervise, and manage the following functions; Program Management, Business Operations, AUTEC Integrated Data Management System, AUTEC Business Systems and Program Documentation Support. Responsibilities also include all facets of Security including Personnel Security, Industrial Security/Information Security, Operational Security, Harbor Operations, Cyber Security and Communication Security (COMSEC). Additional responsibilities include Safety and Environmental, Configuration and Maintenance, AUTEC Information Systems, and the AUTEC Recreation Association (ARA). The incumbent maintains routine communications and interfaces as required with government officials.

Essential Responsibilities:

1) Supervises AUTEC Enterprise personnel including ensuring staff is adequately trained; coordinating workloads, priorities, and schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of work; and monitoring and evaluating staff performance.

2) Assists the AUTEC Program Manager in the management and coordination of AUTEC operations to ensure operating effectiveness and efficiency and compliance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and company policies and procedures.

3) Analyzes AUTEC contract activities and prepares memorandums, analyses, and reports for the AUTEC Program Manager.

4) Ensures their office is adequately staffed.

5) Interfaces with government officials on diverse issues and problems and works to resolve operational issues and problems.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of academic/technical/military training. Possess 8-10 years of diverse management experience with excellent communication, analytical, project management, and supervisory skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills are required. Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications are required. Position may require travel. Position requires intermittent travel to contract operational sites. Must qualify for and maintain the required government Security Clearance. Possess a valid state issued driver’s license.
