Eaton Corporation Associate Product Manager in Peachtree City, Georgia
Eaton’s Residential Wiring Devices division is currently seeking an Associate Product Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Peachtree City, GA facility.
The Associate Product Manager is responsible for managing assignments to meet objectives under the guidance of a Product Manager. In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams, managing projects, new product execution, performing business analysis and tracking and supporting the product managers with overall brand marketing management.

You will supports the product managers by implementing strategic product and business plans targeting markets, industries and customers
You will work with product managers to improve profit and return on investment of product lines.
You will own and maintain cost reduction, capacity planning and quality improvement projects within established guidelines
You will forecast product, SKU rationalization, packaging and graphics changes, and item master data maintenance
You will review and approve special pricing requests, maintains price list and develops pricing strategies for new and existing products under the direction of a product manager
You will develop product promotion and commercialization plans including sales tools, literature, distribution, stocking, training and sampling and lead new product development activities with the assistance of the product manager
You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to reduce finished goods inventory and E&O and develop/maintain a knowledge base for electrical codes and standards

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in product management, new product development, marketing, sales, and/or engineering
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in an analytics role with proven leadership abilities, time management principles, and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Master’s in Business or Engineering from an accredited institution
Experience in new product development using Phase Gate processes
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the electrical industry
Power distribution experience is preferred
Experience with residential and commercial electrical codes and standards such as UL, IEC, ASHRAE etc
Capable of developing test and validation plans as part of the New Product Development process
Prior experience with demand planning and product management systems including SAP are preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and web based information and documentation systems
