Eaton Corporation National Channel Partner Accounts Manager in Peachtree City, Georgia

Eaton’s Lighting Division has an opening for National Channel Partner Account Manager. The position will be based in our Peachtree City, GA facility.

Position Summary

The National Channel Partner Manager will develop strategies with key national distributor partners; implement and execute plans incorporating distributor personnel, agency and Cooper Lighting sales teams; and track progress to meet expected growth goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Ability to take Cooper Lighting programs and initiatives to our distributor partners to ensure our investment and message is heard at the branch level

  • Delivering our message (programs, new products, etc) within distributor marketing plans to our mutual customers (contractors, utilities and end users)

  • Develop clear goals and roadmap to achieve results with each national partner/district or region

  • Attend and drive District Planning Sessions with clear, actionable outcomes with planned follow up

  • Monthly reporting on progress towards goals

  • Develop national account business with Energy Solutions Group and NA; leverage current distributor relationships

  • Clear, constant communication with RVP, DM and agent regarding distributor interaction

  • Develop sound relationships at the district and region level

  • Distributor planning for annual, mid-year reviews (prep for “Top-to-Top” meetings)

  • Monthly communication with districts/regions; driving marketing promotions and programs

  • Operations liaison for customer service, pricing, post sales


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of 5 years sales management experience of electrical manufacturing, distributor or electrical manufacturers’ representatives

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship

  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the lighting industry

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with national channel partner accounts

Position Criteria:

  • Ability to work independently on projects with other business partners and lead teams to completion

  • Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong time management and organizational skills
