What’s the role?
The Senior Static Mechanical Support Engineer is part of the Maintenance Engineering Support Team in the Prelude Asset Maintenance and Turnaround Department. You will be responsible for short-term threat management, work execution support and work preparation support. You will facilitate the CMMS optimisation, reliability monitoring and improvement, as well as play an integral role in supporting the learning and development of junior engineers within the team.
Some of the key deliverables and responsibilities of this role are:
Support the offshore maintenance execution teams for the mitigation or resolution of short-term threats.
Support work execution and work preparation teams with the timely clarification of technical queries and technical support.
Provide system custodianship of mechanical / static equipment systems.
Maintain close collaboration and interface with the Integrated Engineering team.
Provide support for the RCM (Reliability Centred Maintenance), PMO (Preventive Maintenance Optimisation), RBI (Risk Based Inspection) and the overall maintenance strategy for Mechanical Static equipment components and systems.

What we need from you
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other technical related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in an operating environment within an oil and gas processing facility.
Demonstrated experience in the development of work process and writing of technical documentation.
Knowledge of the development and/or optimisation of the Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (SAP-PM).
