Job Description

The Digital Solution Sale Rep in this incentive role is responsible for closing sales that are a result of a discussion associated with qualified leads/ opportunities generated from clients,IBM client reps, brand specialists, and inside client representatives, in response to direct marketing efforts, or new acquisition programs.

Client communication can occur via phone, email, text chat, or other social media. Is proficient in the discipline offerings, has knowledge of other discipline products, and has the sales and technical experience to successfully close a sales engagement. Understands the competition.

An Inside Sales Specialist uses database technology to record client/prospect information. Primary measurements are revenue and profit. The employee focuses on individual/team objectives and development of professional effectiveness.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Must be able to work independently, and prioritize both revenue generating and non-revenue generating activities

  • Strong objection handling skills

  • Strong ability to actively listen and determine customer needs

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills, discipline, attention to detail, high energy and a can do attitude, balance multiple tasks

  • Highly motivated, competitive, self-starter with a strong sense of urgency

  • At least 5 years sales experience, preferably technology or services sales

  • At least 5 years experience in developing customer relationships

  • Preferably 2 years in IBM TSS Sales

  • English: Fluent
