This is a fantastic career opportunity in Peterborough for an experienced Accounts Analyst with a knowledge of Credit Control and natural commercial flair.
You’ll join a small team within Cummins Generator Technologies (CGT), a very successful business unit within the Cummins Group.
As part of a team, you will manage all of the Credit Risk Analysis for the business unit as well as providing Financial Analysis for the EMEA Region.
This is a unique role, where you will play an influential part in key business decisions for an international company. You’ll be given great exposure to the business, presenting a great opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a supportive environment.
Your duties in the role will also include:
Developing your own knowledge and understanding of trade finance and credit management skills to allow you to effectively evaluate customer credit- worthiness, determining potential risk factors and presenting your findings back to key stakeholders.
Preparing metrics analysis and consolidated credit reporting for each entity, as well as ad hoc credit analysis and reports as required.
Supporting local customers in relation to credit limits and terms, ensuring that activities are in line with Corporate Credit Policies.
Monthly management of accounts for the EMEA region including; income statements, working capital, capital expenditure and commentary on performance with explanation of variances.
Supporting the preparation of the EMEA region budgets, forecasts and the corporate plan. covering the P&L and other KPIs for the CGT business unit.
Working closely with Finance teams, developing an understanding of trends in performance, and key issues, activities, and timetables.
Financial modelling for AOP, forecasting, capex projects and productivity initiatives.
Previous experience working in a Credit focused role.
A-Level Qualified or equivalent
It would be a bonus if you held Accountancy industry qualifications.
Compensation and Benefits
Basic Salary: £27,100 - £32,000
Defined contribution pension scheme - company contributions up to 9%
Annual bonus plan - target 8% (based upon company performance)
