We have a very exciting opportunity at our brand new shared service centre in Peterborough for an experienced Administration Supervisor. In this position you will be responsible for managing a new team of Administrators within Purchasing, ensuring that critical business performance metrics are achieved in accordance with the service level agreement

This position is perfect for you if you are looking for the opportunity to make a name for yourself in a global organization. You will be able to develop a new team as well as be a key influencer in Continuous Improvement initiatives for the centre.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

  • Managing a team of Administrators completing transactional and analysis duties to achieve critical business performance metrics.

  • Plan and priorities the teams’ activities and resources to ensure daily operational targets are achieved.

  • Lead and develop direct reports to ensure that resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are achieved.

  • Coach, train and develop the team to aid them in achieving Key Performance Indicators and to support their professional development.

  • Coach internal customers by demonstrating how to utilize purchasing systems.

  • Participates in benchmarking and improving systems and processes, identifying potential issues and escalating to the Purchasing Systems Analyst for review.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience Required:

To be a success in this role you will need:

  • A proven track record of leading a team of administrators completing a high volume of work in a fast paced environment is essential for this position.

  • To enjoy being a positive and motivational leader, with demonstrable experience managing a team who are performing transactional tasks.

  • Exceptional communication skills, allowing you to liaise with other shared service teams, internal stakeholders and other parts of the business.

  • To be driven to achieve critical business performance metrics in accordance with the service level agreement.

  • To be a voice for Continuous Improvement, actively participating in the design and implementation of new processes and procedures for the site.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary up to £32,000 plus an 8% variable bonus (paid annually based on company performance)

  • Pension (Cummins contributions up to 7%)

  • 25 days holiday plus stats
