We are looking for a research associate for our Peyrehorade site (40).

In this context, you will assist the Peyrehorade Corn Research Program Assistant. This offer represents a unique opportunity to work in contact with innovative technologies (plant breeding, marker assisted selection ...) for the development of sustainable agriculture.

The duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows:

  • Participation in the shelling of the ICB.

  • Seed preparation for different programs.

  • Seed flow management to the different breeding programs.

  • Contribution to the management of field operations (planting, crop monitoring, self, weeding, logging and harvesting)

  • Ensure the correct resolution of the problems that may arise for the tests.

  • Help with the management of temporary staff for the various peaks of activity (from 2 to 20 people)

  • Adherence, respect and monitoring of the correct application of the Health and Safety Environment policy.

  • Active contribution to maintaining and improving the quality standards of the team's activity.

  • Participation in the training of new employees and seasonal employees

These responsibilities will also be carried out in collaboration with other corn research teams based in France and abroad.

Frequent travel in France is expected especially from farmers working with our company.


Passion for field and team work, pedagogical approach, good interpersonal skills, organization, precision, responsiveness, knowledge of the agricultural world and practices of plant experimentation are essential qualities for this position.


  • Minimum BTS certificate (plant production, seeds, agronomy) with 3 years of experience

  • Driving Licence required

  • English language

  • Knowledge in mechanics

  • Good command of IT tools (Pack Office) and strong adaptability to understand the IT tools developed internally.
