Over the last few years changes in the Treasury and Swaps markets drove the need for more automation in Price, Risk and P&L generation while quantitative models complexity increased significantly. At the same time the demands on performance and reliability characteristics of these systems went up dramatically. These pressures will continue and that means that the systems must be able to adapt to changes quickly with very little margin for error. This leads to strategic rethinking of the whole development pipeline, i.e. how we deliver software changes to production, starting from design to production deployment. In tune with these themes, a number of approaches, methodologies and tools emerged to support what effectively becomes Continuous Delivery to the desks. This role is to bring core implementation expertise to the development team and apply it to the THR and Liquid Product Strategic Program for Intraday Pricing, Risk and P&L. New hire will help to address outstanding application migration tasks related to (BAR) Build and Release, Continuous Integration and Deployment, Release management and will work on building LP DEVOPS delivery system to cover all LP applications. The role will bring deep understanding of SDLC principals and real life experience with vast variety of DevOps tools. The role will also develop environment creation and configuration for LP projects. New hire will be also engaged in our new technology uplift initiatives, such as Micro-services platform. This job will require deep knowledge of such technologies (Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service), Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) and development of automation (Ansible and uDeploy). New hire will be responsible to work with developers to understand system architecture and design and develop all is needed to remove any impediments from delivery process. The new hire will be also responsible to design and develop test automation based on business use cases and nonfunctional requirements, design and develop CI pipelines with Jenkins, Ansible, uDeploy and many other DevOps tools. New hire will work with development and testing teams to on-board new applications to CI/CD and work with Enterprise architecture to design and help to implement migration of applications to a new Enterprise cloud. The new hire will participate in research and POC activities related to CI and DevOps.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of application development and implementation experience

  • 5 + years of Networking experience

  • 7 + years of cloud computing experience

  • 7 + years of experience with server administration and job creation using Jenkins Continuous Integration server

  • 3 + years of automation or regression testing experience

  • 7+ years of UNIX experience

  • 7+ years of virtualization technologies experience

  • 7+ years of Perl or Shell experience

  • 5+ years of Python experience

  • 3+ years of workload automation tool experience

  • 3+ years of ANT or Maven experience

  • 5+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services

  • 3+ years of RPM packages experience

  • 5+ years of SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) Internet security protocol experience

  • 5 + years of experience with Agile tools

Desired Qualifications:
