IBM Cross-Functional Supply Chain Associate Partner in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Your Role and Responsibilities

Cognitive Supply Chain is the fastest growing practices in IBM GBS. Our focus is in helping our clients reimagine their Supply chains in Integrated business planning, Industry 4.0, Procurement, Logistics, Order to cash, R&D, to transform their operations and lead the digital disruption. By adopting cutting edge IBM and partner technologies, mapping out the journey to the Cloud, we are at the tip of the arrow when it comes to innovation and transformation. The team collaborates across IBM and leverages our deep industry specialists, highly experienced technical architects, and ground-breaking solution experts to help our clients in the journey to the Cognitive Enterprise.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Associate partner you will advise clients on their key strategic priorities, you will manage teams who design, develop, and implement cognitive supply chain solutions. You will anchor proposal preparation and engagement delivery efforts. You will lead the functional and technical solution for Transformation programs. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes and deliverables. You will consultatively provide critical functional Supply Chain expertise in following areas

  • S&OP Integrated business planning

  • Manufacturing and Industry 4.0

  • Inventory Management, Warehousing, Transportation

  • Customer Service, order to cash and Logistics Introduction

  • Supply chain control tower

Your responsibilities include

Sales / Project Acquisition

  • Lead CPR team members in driving proposal development and orals

  • Develop client relationships to identify and qualify sales opportunities with the assistance of senior leadership

  • Lead solution definition for client specific needs during sales pursuits

Project Execution

  • Collaborate with clients to define long-term vision, goals and strategies

  • Contribute to the design and development of client future processes and organizations with corresponding transformation roadmaps

  • Conduct requirements workshops with a team of cognitive solution consultants & subject matter experts, translating those requirements into actionable project initiatives w/associated metrics

  • Coach and develop team members to deliver quality results and promote professional development

People Development

  • Mentor and coach team members and serve as guide to their personal development

  • Collaborate and share knowledge

  • Serve as People Manager to junior consultants

Practice Development

  • Create/contribute CPR knowledge repository

  • Market eminence, develop unique point of views on digital supply chain, disruptive technologies and agile methodologies

We are looking for people who are self-starters, with proven record of selling $3-5 M+ in last 2 years, delivering supply chain transformations and mentoring teams

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 7+ years of experience in Deep Cross Functional Supply Chain Expertise7+ years of experience in Integrated Business / Sales & Operations Planning and process improvement7+ years of experience in Warehouse and Travel Management Systems

  • 3+ Years digital technologies ( AI, Block Chain, Control towers)7+ years of experience in Process Transformation

  • 2 End to End IBP process and technical implementations

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 12 + years of experience in Consulting Background

  • 10 + years of experience in one or more of Industry Specific Focus (Industrial, Consumer Products and Life Sciences)

  • Functional Knowledge of SAP IBP/APO, E2 Open, OMP, APO
