Leveraging the corporate change management model and methodology, the Director, Transformation Change Management defines organizational change management strategies supporting large, complex enterprise transformation initiatives and leads the delivery effort for all aspects of the change plan. This individual possesses the ability to anticipate the needs of internal customers and stakeholders, influence their decisions and guide and advise them as to how to maximize the benefits of transformation investments. The Director, Transformation Change Management is flexible in responding to customer and stakeholder needs based on their culture, leadership style, knowledge and expertise.

A critical component of this role is to partner with Human Resources Talent Management, Organizational Design and Business Partner teams; corporate and business unit training teams; and Corporate Communications to co-create the optimal change path and deliver upon change plans.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Define, develop, and drive the execution of organizational change management strategies based on the transformation vision.

  • Identify, analyze, and facilitate on-going stakeholder engagement.

  • Conduct Change Impact and Readiness Assessments to identify key changes or readiness gaps that will impact the organization; and develop and execute change management activities to minimize risks of the transition. Examples include Stakeholder Analyses, Communication Plans, Change Impact Studies, Readiness Assessments, End User Training Strategies, Learning and Development Artifact Development, Adoption Curve Tracking, and Benefits Realization.

  • Facilitate Executive Alignment workshops to clarify business transformation vision and scope, case for change, and program governance model.

  • Co-develop the overall Communication strategy and internal/external communications, messages and supporting materials, in collaboration with Corporate Communications.

  • Develop and support Change Ambassador networks.

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of all program-related training materials, Train-the-Trainer approach, training schedule development, training metrics and measurement approach, and training environment management.

  • Interact with and influence all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrate superior presentation, organization, project leadership, and meeting facilitation skills.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

  • 5-10 years of previous experience developing and leading change management strategies supporting large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives

  • Applied expert understanding of change management methodologies and the change process.

  • Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, project management, problem-solving, and influencing skills.

  • Must be a clear and articulate communicator and have professional poise and presence with a diverse set of audiences, with the ability to partner across all levels.

  • Highly knowledgeable about current trends in healthcare, including population health management, connected health, patient engagement, clinical quality and analytics and other forward-thinking topics.

  • Experience with healthcare organization change management for implementing large and complex IT systems in healthcare client environments preferred.

  • Prosci certification required.

  • Knowledge of Agile and Design Thinking methodologies preferred.

  • Prior experience, training or certification as a meeting facilitator a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
