The Medicare Captive Sales Agent is responsible for growing Medicare Advantage enrollment volume by targeting Medicare beneficiaries that have dual eligible status (Medicare and Medicaid) while adhering to all mandates set forth in the CMS marketing and compliance guidelines as well as in the company policies and procedures. The sales representative will conduct one-on-one sales meetings and house calls as well as work in the field with key providers, local government agencies, community leaders, community based organizations, and others serving the dually-eligible population. Key responsibilities will include attending community events and health fairs to promote product education and awareness for the dual eligible population. This individual will become a familiar and trusted figure in the communities of the AMFC service area. A main goal of this position will be to promote retention and minimize rapid disenrollment by providing accurate, consistent and timely service and follow up. All sales activities must be properly documented and entered into the AMFC database in a timely and compliant manner. The sales agent will also track all marketing and sales activities, as well as update and maintain results in SalesForce.com.
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with the specific population (dual eligible, Medicaid, Medicare).
Ability to generate leads from referrals and local strategic research and prospecting.
Ability to clearly explain the benefits offered by AMFC’s D-SNP plan in a manner that ensures beneficiaries understand eligibility requirements, the Medicare review/approval process of their enrollment application, timing of ID card receipt, etc.
2-3 years with a Medicare Advantage DSNP Product.
Will work closely with network providers to identify and educate potential members and participate in provider promotional activities.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers and customers.
Must have a valid Driver’s license and mode of transportation.
Must have a Accident and Health Insurance license in PA.
