Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM is seeking to hire a Senior Offering Manager for Health and Human services for the Watson Health group. You will be responsible for acting as an entrepreneur, strategist, technical visionary, cross-functional team leader, and client advocate. In this role, you will have two primary responsibilities to create impact: (1) defining the new product; and (2) managing its development, launch, and ongoing improvement.
You will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team and for influencing the actions of a diverse cross-functional team as the market authority, acting as a "General Manager" for their scope of the business.
As part of the Watson Health division, focusing on social program solutions centered on changing the tools which affect the way clients are managed, the Offering Manager will be responsible for:
Defining differentiated solutions which will be used by governments and providers for social programs by gathering market requirements and recommending differentiation strategy and value proposition
Partnering with the appropriate ecosystem to ensure they are providing data / solutions and consuming Watson Health services to ensure IBM is providing a one of a kind solution set to the marketplace and using data metrics to collect and analyze product feedback
Supporting key ecosystem and consortium initiatives in concert with Watson Health division leadership
Supporting key / strategic client engagements with a focus on developing references
Deliver initiatives from conception through completion in an iterative way
Readiness to travel 25% - 40% travel annually. Some international travel could be required.

Ability to lead large, diverse and geographically dispersed teams

Product Manager - Product management - "product roadmap" - strategy - leadership - software product
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
8+ years’ experience in IT related product or offering management
8 + years plus experience creating strategic product roadmap and successfully develop, launch and execute overall product life cycle
Experience with Cloud, AI (Artificial Intelligence), and/or analytics products
Demonstrated abilities in presentation, written and verbal skills with the ability to influence others internally and externally
Proven ability to synthesize complex issues into stories
Skills in leading with influence across complex corporate organizations
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Degree preferred in technology field
Experience with Information Technology and leading teams
Experience with Human Centered Design and working in an Agile environment
Experience with Project Management
Experience in and working knowledge of the Health and Human Services, Social Program Management space
