IBM is currently seeking a Workday Financials Consultant:
Has a PEOPLE first focus ensuring client satisfaction, and applies this focus to all interactions with clients and co-workers
Designing and implementing Workday solutions based on larger project assignments
Analyze and resolve problems as they arise in a timely manner providing communication as needed
Successfully deliver solutions to clients across many Workday functional areas.
Anticipates the needs of clients in order to offer recommendations
Communicates client feedback with Project Managers for follow up and action required.
Demonstrate the configurations through the iterative development of prototypes
Provide subject matter expertise regarding key business process decisions related to industry and/or functional areas

In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to interact directly with clients. Travel to client sites is not expected to exceed 50%, but you in some cases you may be required to travel up to 4 days a week. Preferred candidates will live within a 50 mile radius of a major airport.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 2 years of functional financial management expertise in Record to Report, General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Billing, Procurement, Asset Management, Budgeting, or other related areas
At least 2 years of experience deploying Financial, Procurement, or other related ERP solutions (SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft, etc.)
At least 2 years of experience in business process analysis and requirements gathering
Experienced in Workday and/or Workday certification
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
At least 4 years of functional financial management expertise in Record to Report, General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Billing, Procurement, Asset Management, Budgeting, or other related areas
At least 4 years of experience deploying Financial, Procurement, or other related ERP solutions (SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft, etc.)
At least 4 years of experience in business process analysis and requirements gathering
At least 3 years of experience working in a consulting environment
Certified in Workday Financial Management
