We are currently seeking Higher Education Student Project/Engagement Manager for our growing Workday Higher Education Practice. In this role, you will work with clients to manage project activities, timeline, and budget. Successful candidates will provide project management knowledge and oversight, and have the ability to coordinate and direct project activities using IBM and Workday methodologies so all participants can contribute to implementation success.
Build and retain client relationships
Create and deliver project-level documentation (i.e., reports, project deliverables, etc.)
Drive task-level project plans
Ensure project is delivered on time and on budget
Maintain responsibility for performance, cost, scope, schedule, quality, and appropriate business measurements for project/segment of the project
Assist as needed in the sales process, including scoping projects and estimating efforts to complete the implementation
Oversee and coordinate configurations within the Workday solution
Leverage prior Student Information System (SIS) / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience
Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements
Work with the Delivery Assurance team to ensure compliance with agreed to checkpoints
Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday best practices
Identify opportunities to position additional service offerings to clients
Maintain Workday certifications

In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to interact directly with clients. As such, travel to client sites may be required up to 4 days per week. Preferred candidates will live within a 50 mile radius of a major airport.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 1-2 years of experience in the Higher Education Project/Engagement Manager or related area
At least 1-2 years of experience with IT/ERP Implementations
At least 1-2 years of experience in Student systems implementations
Knowledge of the Higher Education industry and business environment
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
At least 3 years of experience in the following functional area: Student Project/Engagement Manager or related functional area
At least 3 years of experience implementing Student solutions in a Higher Education environment (i.e. Ellucian, Banner, Colleague, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Jenzabar)
At least 3 years of experience working in a consulting environment, preferably with a software or consulting organization
At least 1 year of experience in deploying Workday solutions
