IBM WW Sales Enablement Storage in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Description

Provide and support timely knowledge and skills transfer to sellers by creating, identifying and curating relevant content and delivering it through the most effective activation methods (digital tools, programs, online learning, coaching, applied experiences) and continually exploring and deploying new enablement methods.

Storage focus on value selling and channel background to position the different routes to market and defines approaches. Develops content to educate, train and motivate sales teams on value selling, offerings, tools and methods for storage sales enablement initiatives.

  • Coordinate with sales leadership to define enablement objectives and develop and implement curriculum for specific audiences

  • Act as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, Communications, and Offering Management to understand the different routes to market and define enablement approaches

  • Identify skill gaps at all levels of the sales organization and partner with key leaders and subject matter experts to drive priority learning initiatives

  • Curate, edit and/or create content that can be used to help deepen a skill or offering knowledge

  • Manage content repository and ensure all information is easily and readily accessible at point of need

  • Oversee and coordinate multiple activation programs and activities

  • Gather feedback on a regular basis to improve activities

  • Educate, train and motivate on content, tools and resources

  • Manage, track and report on the impact of sales enablement efforts

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Subject matter expertise in Storage and software offerings

  • Experience designing, developing and delivering enablement activations to sales teams using a combination of content, programs, communication and tools

  • Powerful communication skills including the ability to write for different audiences, an engaging presentation style, and group facilitation skills while being able to engage across multiple geographies

  • Leadership and teamwork skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and roles, especially with internal clients and subject matter experts

  • Proven project management skills

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Sales, tech sales, and channel experience.

  • Experience working with different routes to market such as field sales, channel sales and digital sales.
