The Issue Escalation, Resolution and Communication team (ERC) is a small team focused on improving customer satisfaction by improving the end to end life cycle starting when an issue is reported by the customer to when a resolution is pushed into the production environment. We are hiring a Data Analyst to join the team. We are looking for someone who has a passion for analyzing data to find ways to measure and improve the success of the ERC program. This position is part of the larger engineering department at Oracle NetSuite.


  • Analyze existing operational processes to identify both positive trends and areas for improvements

  • Work closely with team members to understand new program optimizations.Build new searches and reports to monitor the success of the changes

  • Generate and produce reports (spontaneous, periodic, automated)

  • Learn NetSuite toolset to build searches for data gathering and distribution

  • Effectively communicate finding

  • Ensure timely completion of work tasks


  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical or mathematical field

  • A minimum of 3 years experience analyzing data to identify issues and trends

  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills

  • Experience using Excel and its function to generate pivots and graphs to analyze data

  • Basic SQL knowledge

  • Advanced technical skills

  • Excellent documentation skills

  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations

  • Understanding of Software Defect Life Cycle

  • Understanding of Customer Support Services

  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, and Outlook

  • Excellent written and oral communication (English)

  • Scripting experience a plus

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
