Oracle Business Analyst 3-Ops in Phoenix, Arizona

Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization*s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 5 plus years relevant work experience.

General Description:

This business analyst will sit within the sales operationsgroup for the newly formed Food & Beverage Global Business Unit (FBGBU)focused at a Global level. The role will focus on compensation process andissue resolution working closely with Global Incentive Compensation Team,Finance and sales reps covering all aspects of Sales Compensation. Act as the leader for any compensationexception request.


Assist in generating justification documentation andanalysis during annual planning phase. This role will include quota model input, go to market strategyunderstanding, soliciting input from sales leaders as well as GIC & Financecoordination.

Responsible for overall plan administration, oversight andsales rep guidance.

Execute Compensation Administrative functions as needed.This includes managing compensation issues with timely resolution, statementreviews, close report research, deal reviews with Finance, plan submission andmaintenance, tracking plan status (issuance to acceptance) and compensationadministration coordination.

Process Field Sales Commission functions as needed. This includes review and approval of TeamingAgreements, SPIFs and large deal. Trackand process quarterly pools and scorecards, manage compensation inquiries,process sales credit adjustments and finance accruals.

Coordinate and communicate with incentive compensationstakeholders including sales reps, sales management, sales operations, finance,global incentive compensation and global compensation administration.

Ensure sales team has comprehensive understanding ofincentive compensation principles and administration guidelines to facilitatemaximum motivation and efficiency.
