The Enterprise Chief Information Officer (ECIO) Business Services group plays a critical role in enabling our business partners through technology solutions. The organizational model of the ECIO team is designed to more effectively manage our portfolio of applications, govern enterprise IT, manage risk, simplify our technology offerings, and execute on our business partners’ priorities with enhanced time to market. The Enterprise CIO Business Services (ECBS) group is a critical component of the ECIO operating model and is focused on providing critical business services to the Enterprise CIO organization. Enterprise Application Portfolio Management is a team that is established to manage our Application assets, Application competency center and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) to ensure robust portfolio management of more than 4500 applications.

The application lifecycle consists of three phases; Sunrise, Maintenance, and Sunset. The ALM Sunrise Governance Lead is accountable for ensuring that per-established processes and controls are being adhered to and reported on in support of the ALM Sunrise Phase. The processes enable the application community to be compliant with ALM Sunrise policies and controls while the application is being developed.

Job Description:

The ALM Sunrise Governance lead is responsible for:

  • Ensuring alignment and cohesiveness between our policies to our processes to our controls

  • Establishing and monitoring key risk indicators and other governance metrics that ensure adherence to sunrise processes

  • Serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on processes and procedures to ensure application sunrise requests follow established processes

  • Serving as an escalation point on any concerns/issues that arise from the our risk partners or other process/governance teams

  • Partnering with the ALM Sunrise Process and Operations Leads and other subject matter experts to gather and analyze data and provide input to processes improvements

  • Leading all efforts to close any Corrective Action (CA) activity that is assigned against our processes

  • Serving as the single point of contact for our risk partners in any risk/governance activities that require completion

This will enable the Enterprise CIO group to more effectively own, manage and govern our portfolio of applications to meet operational, safety & soundness and strategic requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning

  • 4+ years of Governance and Compliance experience

  • 2+ years of experience managing information security or information technology risk management processes

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology governance risk and compliance processes such as; policies, control standards, risk management concepts, or information security

  • Ability to act as a subject matter expert

  • Ability to provide leadership to an operations team

  • Knowledge and understanding of technology software: lifecycle management

  • Ability to assess current processes/procedures and make recommendations for efficiency

  • 4+ years of financial industry experience

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
