Our mission is to improve public transportation, to enhance quality of life and combat global warming. - Overview:ExecuCar Phoenix, a division of Transdev On Demand, is seeking full time and part time dispatchers for its airport vicinity office. Dispatchers are responsible for overseeing the flow of work to the fleet, ensuring on-time performance and to effectively communicate with customers, driver/operators and the management team. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the bidding process which offers work to Independent Contractor drivers

  • Ensure all upcoming reservation information is complete, set for correct bid times and assigned to vehicles in appropriate timeframe

  • Manage a high volume of a variety of incoming call types including but not limited to requests to make new reservations from contracted hotel staff, provide fare quotes, ExecuCar Independent Operator driver assistance calls and questions from Reservations Center representatives all in a friendly, professional manner.Respond quickly to time sensitive system messages from Independent Contractor drivers

  • Approve ASAP reservation requests and driver no-show requests through system

  • Communicate clearly with other dispatchers and ExecuCar management any and all unusual situations as they occur.

  • Consistently monitor available, unavailable, inbound, outbound, soon-to-clear vehicles to ensure proper work list and contracted hotel stand coverage.

  • Maintain good attendance.

  • Maintain driver/operator and customer relations

  • Adhere to all policies and procedures

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education, Licensing, and Certifications:

  • High school diploma, general education degree (GED); some college, degree preferred

Experience:

  • Two years of experience in dispatch, customer service, or related experience.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities.

  • Ability to work effectively, independently, and in a team environment.

  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written with the ability to prepare and submit reports.

  • Excellent basic business skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Physical Requirnments:

  • Occassionally standing, walking, squat/kneel, bend, reaching above shoulder

  • Constantly sitting

  • Frequent reaching outward

  • Lifting of 10lbs or less (occassionally)

  • Lifting over 11lbs - 20lbs (occassionally)
