Aetna General Mental Health and Substance Use Service Coordinator in Phoenix, Arizona

The GMHSU Services Coordinator position is responsible for the oversight of the scope of work for the contracted GMHSU providers within Mercy Care's Network. This includes providing technical assistance, participation in internal and external meetings regarding the provider network and any deliverables required by the regulator.

Fundamental Components:

  • Ensure compliance to the scope of work

  • Technical assistance to provider

  • Direct meetings to support provider and member needs

  • Participation in Joint Operations Committee meetings

  • Grant coordination

  • Fidelity development and monitoring

  • Oversight of the housing and employment coordination and special programs

  • Residential oversight


    3+ years related work experience. Proven track record meeting project dates.

    MINIMUM Bachelors degree in Social Service or related field, Masters preferred

    Experience with running large meetings driving for problem resolution.

    Strong communication skills

    Experience with program development


    The minimum level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
