A successful candidate will have data manipulation and reporting skills, experience interpreting regulatory reporting specifications, strong consultative skills and knowledge of healthcare data and/or care management programs in the Medicaid and Medicare populations.
Strong knowledge of analytic programming tools and methods ( SQL, SSRS, OLAP, Business Objects, Crystal).
3+ years of relevant programming or analytic experience
Health care claims, products, and systems experience preferred.
Understanding of relational databases, data systems and data warehouses.
Experience in working in a data warehouse environment as well as the ability to work with large data sets from multiple data sources.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. Able to present information to various audiences.
Knowledge of other reporting platforms such as: Business Objects, Microsoft Access, web development technology, big data analytics, data mining, Visual Basic
Consults with internal and external partners and organizations to understand data needs and gather requirements
Creates and implements framework for monitoring and improving data quality
Meets time sensitive regulatory reporting requirements from state agencies and CMS regarding participation in care management and disease management programs, assessment and care plan completion, and annual reassessment
Create corporate level dashboard, using software such as Tableau, to monitor member engagement and staff work load
Uses SQL to query, analyze and integrate enrollment, claims, pharmacy, care management and other related healthcare data
Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple projects concurrently
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
