Transdev Manager Trainee / Data Analyst in Phoenix, Arizona

You will gain experience in different departments within the system, as you gain key skills in project management, leadership, finance, and analysis. The position has a particular focus within the Scheduling and Operations division. Position prepares and orchestrates monthly reporting in order to meet contractual requirements and performance analysis of public transit system; coordinates and directs the collection, analysis, management and reporting of data and statistics; completes analysis of performance data in support of continuous improvement and the generation of required daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.

Responsibilities

  • This position will be provided specific training on route scheduling and dispatching software program (HASTUS). Working to become a proficient user and trouble-shooter of this software will be a primary function of the position.

  • Works with appropriate Transdev and City staff to develop methods and procedures for monitoring, extracting and analyzing data from a variety of software and technology systems in order to support Transdev’s performance and meet our quality assurance efforts.

  • Coordinates the collection and delivery of performance data throughout the location including data from Maintenance, Operations, Human Resources, Safety and Finance.

  • Analyzes statistical data and creates various performance and financial reports.

  • Ensures complete data verification and reconciliation to ensure accuracy.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Administration, Planning, Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience required.

  • Previous experience in similar role preferred.

  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software packages required.

  • Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing required.

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a diverse environment.

  • Excellent proofreading, research, organizational skills required.

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol test.

Demands

Individual must be willing to work in a fast-paced, occasionally stressful environment. Occasional evening or weekend work may also be required to meet deadlines. Will work indoors a majority of the time performing normal office duties including prolonged sitting, typing, filing, bending, stooping.
