Corporate Risk provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, this group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

_KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS):_

  • This position will directly support and report to the Wholesale Group Operational Risk Office (WGORO) Program Manager for End User Computing Tools (EUCTs) and Digital Properties (DP) Governance Programs within the Second Line of Defense (SLOD) WGORO organization, which is now a part of Corporate Risk.

  • The successful candidate will work on a daily basis in a Wells Fargo office/hub/location and provide SLOD risk and compliance oversight, risk and compliance management consultations, associated training and credible challenge services for Wholesale Banking businesses and associated International Regions.

  • The successful candidate ‘s accountabilities include but are not limited to providing SLOD oversight, credible challenge on program deliverables and applicable risk management or policy/standard compliance-related processes; associated consultations, monitoring of risks and controls, manage consistent metrics, trending/reporting and deliver ad-hoc, on-demand reporting for WGORO management chains for End User Computing Tools (EUCTs) and Digital Properties Governance Operational Risk Management Programs.

**Phoenix and Charlotte are the preferred locations, but others may be considered for the right candidate.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both
