IBM Global Business Services (GBS) is seeking to hire a Senior Managing Consultant with a focus in Supply Chain Strategy - Logistics & Distribution. This is a tremendous opportunity to work with some of the world's most essential companies.
The Senior Managing Consultant will oversee development and delivery of strategies that address our client's most complex business challenges in supply chain operations. You will work across industries leveraging your supply chain operations and digital experience in a client environment.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 4 years of experience in managing strategy work (diagnostics, operating model, business case, etc) in supply chain operations
At least 4 years of experience working for a consulting firm, driving supply chain projects for clients in Consumer Products or Retail
Experience using digital technology (analytics, blockchain, etc) to identify and assess improvement opportunities
In-depth operations expertise in logistics & distribution (deployment, load building, transportation, warehouse capacity, etc)
Familiarity with two or more logistics & distribution technology (DRP, TMS, load optimization, route optimization, RFID, etc)
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
At least 6 years of experience managing project teams and client relationships across Consumer Products or Retail
At least 6 years of experience working in a strategy or operations consulting practice
Experience running rapid digital prototype engagements
In-depth expertise in two or more of the following: proposal development, business case, financial analysis, benchmarking
Familiarity with prescriptive models that use solvers like CPLEX or predictive models developed in Python or R
