The primary function for this exciting role is to provide leadership to develop and deploy Best-in-Class Center of Excellence & Shared Services to support the Global SCM strategy for various Supply Chain and Manufacturing verticals including Business Intelligence, Purchasing, Governance Risk and Compliance, Global Trade Management (GTM), Sourcing and Engineering, Materials and Logistics and Supplier, Customer and Plant Quality. This role will own execution of plant operational roles with complete ownership of Functional KPIs. This role also leads the India centralized SCM functions of GTM, Logistics and Indirect Purchase. These are centralized functions supporting Corporate and Plant requirements. The position will focus on building organization capability and capacity to actively support the global SCM needs and also drive Process and Functional excellence, delivering high quality of customer service

Your Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall leadership to the Supply Chain Shared services / COE in India and India Corporate Supply chain team.

  • Define and execute strategies for developing Center of Excellences for specific Work Streams, which are designed to integrate and enhance Global Supply Chain contribution.

  • Develop sustainable culture around Eaton's aspirational goals and leadership expectation.

  • Provide leadership to build culture of Continuous Improvement, Process Focus and Functional Excellence.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership from Supply Chain, Operations and Business Presidents to understand business pain points and provide solutions through benchmarking processes.

  • Support One Eaton One SCM strategy through standardizing best practices and processes across entities.

  • Collaborate with various entities (IPO, EIIC, GFSS, GS) for enhancing the value proposition for business.

  • Actively participate, collaborate and contribute to global decision-making bodies of Supply Chain such as Global Supply Chain Council, Global Materials Council, Global Quality Council.

  • Work closely with various businesses and Global functional leaders in deploying the Shared Service strategy through identifying the opportunities, developing the business case, developing the acceptance at all levels, ensuring world class performance and sustaining CI culture.

  • Be a Thought Leader and adopt latest tools and technologies to ensure sustainable differentiating value proposition from SSC Coe's.

  • Drive change management within SSC and in the assigned Global SCM and plants teams.

  • Define and Lead short, medium and long term functional strategy for Corporate India SCM function including Global SCM SSC - Pune organization, Indirect Purchasing, Logistics and GTM.

  • Build organizational capability and capacity, fostering employee involvement in continuous improvement efforts, through empowering teams and team members to be decision makers in a customer-oriented environment. Identify the right skill set need for the organization and recruit right talent into organization.

  • Develop annual operating and performance measurement plans that align resources with regional and corporate goals and objectives. Establish monitoring mechanisms to identify both areas for improvement and recognition, supporting the ongoing development of EPM.

  • Work collaboratively with program managers and all global and India SCM business / function / regional leaders to define the road map for the process to move suitable functions, tasks and processes.

  • Work with client and PM to deploy on any new process, system deployment in this area to meet customer requirements on time, on budget.

  • Develop customer relationships and monitor customer satisfaction on a regular basis, aligned with global SCM approach and process. Customers will include both BU's and other SCM Corp activities, and will require significant interaction, including face to face project reviews. Responsible for customer service levels, establishing and renegotiating service level agreements and leading "Improvement Agenda" reviews.

  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of all information reported to internal and external customers. Promote quality culture within the -India SCM team by focusing on reducing cycle times and costs of non-conformance.

  • Ensure all SCM policy has been enforced in the area of SCM SCC, Indirect and GTM., act as the gate keeper for certain processes, such as supplier add, COBD etc.

  • Manage internal skill capabilities of the organization to meet the expectations of the customer.

Qualifications

If you are:

  • With advanced and in-depth knowledge on supply chain and industry.

  • 15+ years of supply chain management experience.

  • Experience with managing 200+ people at a minimum.

  • Experience in managing a Shared Service organization (preferred).

  • Experience at a Multi-National Corporation.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication (including presentation) skills.

  • Adaptable to varying cultures.

  • Strong customer orientation, preferably having direct experience in a service-related industry.

  • Perfect ethical approach and strong personal values - role model for the regional SCM organization.

  • Vision and strong program management skills, including change management - that embraces OCM / ADKAR change management principles.

  • Excellent influencing / negotiation skills and ability to work multi-dimensionally in a complex business environment - ability to influence upward, peer-wide, and downward.

  • Strong managerial courage and ability to work through resistance and pushback to change.

  • Excellent communication skills, especially associated with working in a multi-cultural environment, Russian and English language to high proficiency is essential (see below).

  • Strong drive for results.

  • Self-directed leadership with minimal supervision & capability to be self-directed & potential to be empowered to next functional level where appropriate.

  • English language fluency (writing, reading and speaking) essential - other languages advantageous.

  • This position will need to closely work with project team in HQ for any process transitions.

  • This position will have close ties to the all SCM business / function / regional leaders.

  • Enable operations / locations SCM leaders to focus on business issues.

  • Ability to accommodate flexible work schedule: due to time zone difference, this position requires work in the evenings and sometimes early morning when necessary.

  • Willingness to travel extensively (estimate 30% of time).
