Verizon Agile Business Analyst and Project Manager in Piscataway, New Jersey
What you’ll be doing...
This position is responsible for managing multiple agile projects with medium levels of complexity for the Verizon Wireless Order to Billing suite of applications. You will serve as both a Business Analyst and Project Manager, attending Epic\Program daily grooming sessions, analyzing, scoping and accepting user stories to support system requirements for the Order to Billing suite of applications. Programs supported include wireless pricing, billing, customer experience, payment, collections and IOT initiatives. You will be responsible for tracking and reporting project health and milestones for monthly software releases.
Design and analysis of IT systems.
Elicit requirements to resolve business problems.
Serve as the liaison between the customer and the IT organization in order supply technical solutions to meet user needs.
Analyze customer operations to understand requirements and determine opportunities to streamline processes and improve customer experience.
Translate high level customer requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization.
Identify data sources, construct data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents processes. Understand technology trends and uses this expertise to develop customer solutions.
Develop design and functional specifications, produces project related deliverables, and assist in post implementation support and system enhancements.
Compile and synthesize information concerning technology processes or systems.
Support multiple front-end clients including but not limited to Handset, My Verizon, My Business, POS and IVR.

You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or other related field.
Experience supporting business requirements for large enterprise financial applications and\or billing applications.
Strong JIRA and Agile development methodology experience.
XML and Middleware API design\integration experience.
Hands on SQL experience, ability to do table queries in TSO.
Project management experience.
Flowcharting and documentation experience.
Ability to matrix manage and strong project work and project planning experience.
Experience with wireless pricing, ordering and provisioning.
Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong decision-making and leadership abilities.
Strong organizational and problem solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
