This position has overall responsibility for driving cross category customer and supplier facing programs that drive sales and revenue for the channel in North American and working with European leaders to implement in that geography. This role will interact with cross functional departments to scope, design and manage on-going programs that drive customer satisfaction and supplier value and accountability. Programs like the Supplier Tiering Program, Supplier Transparency and enhanced content and quick ship programs that will drive revenue and profitability.

This leader will partner with business leaders within Portfolio Management, Europe, eBusiness, Supply Chain, Marketing and Digital to develop winning strategies and implement operational controls, metrics and automation efficiencies to drive sustainable results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the global customer / supplier facing quick ship program.

  • Define and develop the program with key stakeholders (Supply Chain, eBusiness, Commercial, Digital Marketing, Strategic Marketing, and Portfolio Management.

  • Launch and execute the program globally with suppliers and EU Portfolio Management leadership.

  • Ownership and governance of the global Supplier Portal.

  • Develop new capabilities post-launch with of the supplier portal working with key stakeholders.

  • Evolve the portal based on business needs and supplier feedback to drive greater efficiency.

  • Ownership of the global Supplier Scorecard / Data transparency program.

  • Oversight of the data we share with suppliers through the supplier portal.

  • Evolve the supplier scorecard and improve transparency with suppliers on KPI’s.

  • Ownership and governance of the global Supplier Tiering Program (STP).

  • Lead the evolution of the STP to drive supplier performance.

  • Run the STP with the support of the Portfolio Management leadership Program communications for the STP.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience program management, customer or supplier management, and/or product management.

  • 3+ years of direct supervisory and/or team leadership experience.

  • Demonstrated skills in project management and formal continuous process improvement techniques (Lean Manufacturing).

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a scientific field, as well as a High School diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An advanced degree in business or science.

  • Detail oriented and aggressive self-starter who can manage, motivate and collaborate with cross functional team members.

  • Ability to set a vision and create strategies and execution plans that deliver results.

  • Ability to look outside of our organization to understand the changing landscape of our business both from a customer and supplier point of view.

  • Sound problem solving skills.

  • Ability to motivate and influence others.

  • Well-developed written skills to prepare monthly reports, reviews, and white papers, as well as preparing presentations to a variety of audiences.
