Position Summary:

The Coordinator supports strategic marketing programs including New Lab Start-Up and Canada Flex Dollars to help drive growth and deliver an excellent customer experience. Coordinator responsibilities are diverse and require attention to detail, strong follow through and excellent customer service skills. The Coordinator collaborates with Suppliers, Portfolio Management and Marketing colleagues. Additional programs may be developed and added for administrative support to this role in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process redemptions for Fisher Scientific’s New Lab Start-Up Program which includes verifying proofs of purchase and contacting suppliers and customers as needed.

  • Process registrations for Fisher Scientific’s New Lab Start-Up program.

  • Communicate with appropriate lead time and details to ensure all parties are aware of new promotions and have executed their portion of the work to ensure a smooth launch.

  • Track and disseminate accurate program information to facilitate monthly program performance metrics.

  • Communicate directly with Suppliers, Customers and Commercial Sales Team to resolve any customer or supplier concerns.

  • Pursue a course of action for timely resolution of issues stemming from Marketing program promotions.

  • Maintain accurate and organized files, including documentation of important verbal discussions, issues and requests.

  • Provide weekly reporting on number of promotions redeemed by campaign as well as any issues that are being tracked.

  • Participate in discussions about program evolution. Provide feedback to further enhance the perceived value of the programs and the promotions redemption process to create a better experience for our customer.

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred

  • At least one year of general office or customer service experience

  • Outstanding organizational skills

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, MS Outlook

  • Ability to work independently

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Resourcefulness

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to set priorities

  • Detail-oriented and highly accurate, with excellent follow-up skills

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

  • High School diploma

  • At least one year of general office or customer service experience
