The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Coordination and interaction with AECOM project managers; project controls administrators, accountants and various clients
Assisting PMs with project setups, reviews and updates in the AECOM accounting system
Assisting Project Managers using cloud-based project software and tracking of milestones for deliverables, meetings, etc
Routine project support including management of project submittals, RFI’s, invoices, etc
Assisting in tracking and monitoring financial performance of projects
Providing client invoice preparation support for Project Managers
Reviewing invoices from sub consultants for payment approval
Using various client on-line software systems for the submittal of reports, documents and drawings
Ability to travel and work occasionally on a construction job site
High school diploma
2+ years of related experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong organizational, technical and communication skills
Ability to work independently or within a team environment
Strong multi-tasking abilities
Committed to working efficiently to complete tasks within budget and schedule constraints
Bachelor's degree in related field
Experience supporting construction projects/programs
Financial accounting experience
