AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Project Support Administrator Engineer for employment in the Pittsburgh, PA office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordination and interaction with AECOM project managers; project controls administrators, accountants and various clients

  • Assisting PMs with project setups, reviews and updates in the AECOM accounting system

  • Assisting Project Managers using cloud-based project software and tracking of milestones for deliverables, meetings, etc

  • Routine project support including management of project submittals, RFI’s, invoices, etc

  • Assisting in tracking and monitoring financial performance of projects

  • Providing client invoice preparation support for Project Managers

  • Reviewing invoices from sub consultants for payment approval

  • Using various client on-line software systems for the submittal of reports, documents and drawings

  • Ability to travel and work occasionally on a construction job site

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma

  • 2+ years of related experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Strong organizational, technical and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment

  • Strong multi-tasking abilities

  • Committed to working efficiently to complete tasks within budget and schedule constraints

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field

  • Experience supporting construction projects/programs

  • Financial accounting experience
