To provide analytical support within the Department and between the business area of multiple carriers & technical resources for continued growth of the Supply Chain Solutions Department
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile data conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. Work with IT counterparts to use data to “tell the story
Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Create and maintain documentation necessary to communicate current business process, to-be business process and requirements to IT and business area
Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following as needed: (functional requirements, business requirements, reporting requirements, etc.)
Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gather information, evaluate output requirements and formats
Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, participating in professional societies
Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams and support teams.
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the vision and analyze trade-offs.
Command of English language to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
Strong understanding of Supply Chain Operations business processes and Department workflows
Must possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
Must be proficient in using MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, & Access).
Ability to working independently by setting and accomplishing goals
Must possess general understanding of web base technology and database structure
Must be able to manage projects and multiple tasks
Must possess excellent follow-up and organizational skills
Must possess strong math/statistical/numerical/reporting/presentation skills
Must be able to work well in a team environment and energetically share ideas and participate in daily Operations functions
Time management skills are essential
May be required to work different shifts to support initiatives as related to business segment being represented
Occasional travel, including overnight, may be required.
