Description/Job Summary

To provide analytical support within the Department and between the business area of multiple carriers & technical resources for continued growth of the Supply Chain Solutions Department


  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile data conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. Work with IT counterparts to use data to “tell the story

  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Create and maintain documentation necessary to communicate current business process, to-be business process and requirements to IT and business area

  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following as needed: (functional requirements, business requirements, reporting requirements, etc.)

  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gather information, evaluate output requirements and formats

  • Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned


  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, participating in professional societies

  • Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams and support teams.

  • Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the vision and analyze trade-offs.


  • Command of English language to communicate effectively with internal and external customers

  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain Operations business processes and Department workflows

  • Must possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.

  • Must be proficient in using MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, & Access).

  • Ability to working independently by setting and accomplishing goals

  • Must possess general understanding of web base technology and database structure

  • Must be able to manage projects and multiple tasks

  • Must possess excellent follow-up and organizational skills

  • Must possess strong math/statistical/numerical/reporting/presentation skills

  • Must be able to work well in a team environment and energetically share ideas and participate in daily Operations functions

  • Time management skills are essential


  • May be required to work different shifts to support initiatives as related to business segment being represented

  • Occasional travel, including overnight, may be required.
