Oracle Manager, Demand Generation and Digital Marketing - Oracle Energy and Utilities Global Marketing in Pleasanton, California
Responsible for digital marketing of products or services in support of Oracle's demand generation strategy using tools to optimize marketing strategies and enhance the customer experience with new technology platforms and innovations.
Responsible for digital marketing activities to optimize the online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness. Executes online marketing programs such as search optimization (paid and natural search), affiliated marketing, social marketing, and viral marketing to create buzz and inbound demand responses. Drive traffic which ultimately generates sales pipeline. Translates ideas used in demand generation into promotional marketing campaigns and advertising personas. Ensures localized content is leveraged for all digital marketing channels including, web, social, paid advertising and outbound emails Conducts analysis for programs effectiveness and uses the findings for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all digital programs. Collects and analyzes digital/internet/website/mobile data and statistics which monitor and measure the performance of digital traffic and activities to support marketing and campaign optimization, lead generation for sales, product and engineering teams for continuous improvements to product and data driven decision making. Applies statistics-based market intelligence to business issues and formulates recommendations on optimizing the user experience and help drive business outcomes. Monitors and analyzes site performance and reviews tracking metrics to provide solutions to increase search engine ranking and creating marketing personas/audience profiles. Researches and evaluates new technology trends and identifies new optimization opportunities.
Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years related experience. BA/BS degree or equivalent. Proficiency in web analytics applications, strong database skills and technical understanding of website architecture and mobile platforms.

TheOracle Utilitiesglobal marketing team is looking for a dynamic marketer to help grow andsupport our demand gen and integrated marketing programs. You ll work closelywith cross-functional teams across Demand Generation, regional MarketingCommunications, Product Marketing, Field Sales and Inside Sales to createinbound and outbound campaigns aligned with each stage of the buyer s journey.
The ideal candidateis passionate about B2B technology and has 5-8 years of experience buildingglobal marketing programs that successfully drive sales pipeline.
Manage the planningand execution of demand generation campaigns, and develop all correspondingassets including emails, landing pages and CTAs that convert to qualified leadsand ultimately pipeline opportunities.
Define list segmentation and the preferences, needs and challenges of each buyer s persona. Identify - and adjust - appropriate mix of assets and activities to engage the audience, generate Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), and grow and close pipeline.
Support and execute on the digital marketing strategy, including inbound and outbound tactics (SEO, advertising, etc.), testing and UX to drive demand generation and conversion on digital properties.
Regularly assess program effectiveness and make adjustments as needed based on conversion rates and cost-per-lead metrics.
Collaborate closely with regional Marketing Communications teams to localize digital marketing programs and advise on account-based marketing strategies.
Ideate with and serve as consultant to internal content creators to create valuable assets for demand generation.
Provide regular monthly reporting and quarterly deep dive results required by marketing and sales leadership using internal Oracle systems to pull reports, review raw data, and provide detailed analyses.
5-8 years of experience in demand generation or digital marketing
Bachelors in business, marketing or communications. MBA a plus
3 years of experience at a B2B SaaS company
Experience working with global teams, with an understanding of the marketing and business nuances in other regions worldwide, is preferred (specifically EMEA, JAPAC and Latin America).
Knowledge of the energy/utilities industry or past experience at a tech company a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas and influence executive leadership (portfolio/samples will be requested)
Self-motivated, confident, energetic and creative team player
Strong interpersonal skills and embraces challenges and works proactively; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in multiple time zones
CRM (e.g., Salesforce.com) and marketing automation systems (e.g., Eloqua) experience are desirable
Strong quantitative, analytical, or statistical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
Ability to be both tactical and strategic; excellent trouble-shooting skills required
Ability to interact with all levels of management as well as outside vendors
Ability to work out of our Arlington, VA office strongly preferred
