Principal Product Manager - Taleo Business Edition

Preferred Qualifications

As a leader for the Taleo Business Edition, you will be responsible for one of the world's leading Talent Acquisition and Talent Management cloud products for mid-market.

You will manage a group of product managers with a goal to incorporate the latest trends in HR and technology and deliver great products that exceed customer expectations.

As a manager in the product development division, you will lead a team that defines product specifications and or strategy. Responsibilities include:

  • Gathering and analyzing information to define product specifications and review design specifications.

  • Communicating product strategy and functionality.

  • Initiating and fostering relationships with other groups.

  • Reviewing product documentation and collateral.

  • Ensuring successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

  • Managing and controling activities in multi-functional areas of sections.

  • Ensuring appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate business needs.

Requirements :

  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills

  • Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management

  • Bachelors Degree minimum; MBA a plus

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Manage a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a manager in the product development division, you will lead a team that defines product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate business needs. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
