Preferred Qualifications

We’re looking for an experienced Human Capital Management (HCM) product strategist to lead overall strategy and go-to-market efforts for our Cloud Recruiting products.

In addition to owning overall product strategy, vision and positioning, you will leverage your strong HCM presence internally at Oracle, directly with customers and more broadly to the industry as a whole.

Key Skills and Expectations Include:

  • Evolving the core positioning and positioning of our cloud recruiting products

  • Identifying new opportunities that will drive product evolution

  • Leading market analysis and competitive intelligence

  • Being on point for interactions with industry analysts

  • Owning all go-to-market strategy for cloud recruiting products

  • Driving field enablement activities


  • 5-7 years of direct experience with SaaS HCM, including strong familiarity with recruiting applications and market

  • 10 years of overall professional experience

  • Strong presence within the HCM industry

  • Significant interactions history with HCM industry analyst community

  • Outstanding verbal communications skills, including command as a public speaker and ability to influence within the organization

  • Outstanding written communications skills, including ability to craft effective business presentations

  • Track record of succeeding in cross functional team environment

  • BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area

  • MBA Preferred

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Manage a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a Senior Director in the product development division, you will lead a team that defines product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Envision and communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management, providing negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge important. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience preferred.
