How will you make an impact?

In this key role, you’ll be part of operations development support systems and activities.

What will you do?

  • Work closely with R&D, manufacturing and product management to develop and launch new products that meet customer and manufacturing needs

  • Support technology transfers from R&D to Manufacturing and/or from manufacturing site to manufacturing site

  • Perform statistical analysis to analyze trends and works with team to investigate trends, conduct root cause analysis and recommend and implement corrective action for processes.

  • Work with team to plan and design experimental methods to achieve technical objectives as well as identify and solve complex problems

  • Lead continuous improvement efforts

  • Supports RUO and GMP activities

How will you get here?

Education

  • Master's degree with 7 plus years of experience, or Ph.D. degree with 4 plus years of experience in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or other related discipline

Experience

  • Prior industrial experience, particularly in capillary electrophoresis, RNA and DNA purification, PCR, quantitative PCR (qPCR), and sequencing.

  • Experience with human identification (HID) techniques is a must.

  • Experience in data analysis, study design, troubleshooting, and evaluation of new technologies and procedures for the development of new products.

  • Direct experience in product development according to a design control process is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Proficient in data analysis, study design, troubleshooting, and evaluation of new technologies and procedures for the development of new products.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, and the ability to function with high degree of independence are required.

  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to efficiently evaluate, prioritize, and adapt to changing project priorities
