Norfolk Southern Commercial Services Representative in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania


Job Description

Primary Purpose: Direct point of contact for TDIS customers for pricing, booking loads and ensuring that loads are taken care of according to the customer’s requests.

Principle Duties:

  • Interface with customers on pricing requests.

  • Book loads, noting special requests.

  • Interface with Operations, IT & Accounting to resolve customer issues.

  • Interface with customers on accessorial issues.

  • Accept or reject load offers.

  • Book & route loads.

  • Resolve customer issues.

  • Process paperwork.

  • Validate & apply rates to loads in TMS.

  • Communicate with customers & management when service issues arise.

Job Related Experience:

  • Minimum Level: 1-2 years

  • Preferred Level: 3-5 yearsEducation: Preferred Level: Bachelor’s Degree (BS)

  • MS Excel/Spreadsheets

  • MS Outlook
