Job Description:

The Product Manager is the team lead and is responsible for analyzing and documenting the business digital needs. Helping the business to find the right answer to solve their business problems, to determine feasible solutions contributing to develop new business solutions. Reporting to the IT Manager, the Product Manager is the IT Lead who is key to ensuring that we capture and quickly deliver Digital opportunities and manage these as projects from ideation to MVP (Minimum Value Product). Time will be spent 50:50 on Digital Integration and IT Projects.

Other accountabilities include:

  • Provide support to the IT Manager for any other IT Projects and support the business with further understanding the Integrated Gas Digitalization agenda, and bring new opportunities to/from the Technology Steering Committee for prioritization by the Business.

  • Assist the Digitalization BOM, Product Owner and IT Manager with the assessing the value created, cost savings or efficiencies for each demand.

  • Fully utilize AGILE development and SCRUM practices.

  • Work closely with Product Owners throughout the Product lifecycle, executing discovery, customer research and aligning the product with the Digital roadmap, and business alignment.

  • Legal right to work in Trinidad and Tobago without sponsorship.

  • Must have SCRUM certification (PMI-ACP, CSPO or CSM) and at least 5 years’ experience with AGILE/SCRUM projects (practitioner or stakeholder).

  • At least 5 years of strong Project Management Experience, with an understanding of how to manage Sprints and Product Catalogues.

  • Experience in leading AGILE teams as SCRUM Master.

  • Experience in release planning, backlog grooming, estimation techniques, facilitate prioritization, sprint planning, capacity planning, daily SCRUM meeting, retrospective, sprint reviews.

  • Experience working on Digitalization programs in Upstream or Integrated Gas preferred.

  • Able to deliver MVP (Minimum Value Product) with speed.

  • Must have the ability to lead a cross-functional, multi-disciplined team.

  • Removing impediments, conflict management, facilitation, making the team collaborative to help achieve sprint objective.

  • Experience in presenting different metrics to various stakeholders (status reports, burn down charts etc.)

  • Risk Management and Change Control management.

  • Demonstrated Continuous Improvement initiatives.
