Software Developer - Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago
No. of Positions:
Develops information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions. Reporting to the ScrumMaster team lead, The Software Engineer quickly captures and develops MVPs (Minimum Valuable Products), and leads the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the projects. The candidate is expected to fully embrace AGILE development practices. The solutions must fit the business demand and have the right cost profile NPV (Net Present Value) through its life cycle.
Provide solution development, making sure solutions are well designed and conform to Shell market standards and reference/segment architectures.
Design projects in accordance with Shell’s reference architectures and target operating environments.
Ensure proactive and inclusive engagement of stakeholders in IT. Including data; infrastructure and security architects.
Focus on Total Cost of Ownership in solution design.
Follow technology developments in the market and leverage this knowledge in architecting solutions in Shell. Ensure solutions are ‘future-proof’,
Stay aligned with development of standards and standard services in IT at Shell to ensure the latest service developments are considered.

Must have legal right to work in Trinidad and Tobago without sponsorship.
At least 3 years of related work experience in IT.
Bachelor's degree in IT required.
AGILE knowledge and experience. Certification and experience preferred.
Technical skills required: Python, SalesForce, PowerBI (or other relevant analytics software/s).
Experience with medium scale Project Management skills.
Market Standard Solution Implementation.
IT Solution Design for the business.
Other Technical requirements:
Information Risk Management (IRM).
Human Centered Design.
