Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Administrative Assistant for immediate employment in the Malabar (Arima) location.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Reception and assist with inbound and outbound mail and courier shipments

  • Coordinate and maintain an inventory of office supplies and stationery

  • Provide document control support: filing and maintenance of filing structures

  • Prepare various types of documents using standardized templates and styles

  • Coordinate and execute small, medium and large volume printing requests, including all aspects of production

  • Assist with financial services such as preparation of accounts payable invoices, handling employee expense reports, and weekly time card processing

  • Book travel arrangements and meetings

  • Manage project records and technical library

  • Provide other general assistance as required

Minimum Requirements

  • Accurate typing and data entry skills

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written

  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills with deadline orientation and sense of urgency

  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality and personal accountability

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy

  • Creative thinker who demonstrates proactive problem solving and conflict resolution

  • The ability to work within multi-discipline teams and to provide professional and superior customer service to both internal and external customers
