How will you make an impact?
Our company is an exciting place to work right now. We are making big investments in our digital marketing capabilities and need talented people to help grow our business. In this role, you will have the following areas of responsibility:
Tradeshow Operations –
You will own the logistics, coordination and physical execution of our tradeshow schedule for the US business.
You will work directly with marketing managers to align desired content and outcomes with our physical presence at tradeshows.
You will consistently assess our return (monetary and brand) on all tradeshows and provide recommendation and expertise on how to make our presence more effective.
You will communicate throughout our organization on tradeshow progress, procedure and success including to US leadership and global operations.
Marketing Operations –
You will be in a position to be a huge part of what makes our department run. We are looking for a hungry, high energy, focused person that can operate in a high-velocity business and produce value for the company.
We operate in a regulated environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that our processes are followed across several areas of execution related to commercial activities. These areas are mission critical to the company and will require you to confidently enforce our procedure.
You will execute our on-demand print strategy to deliver high value print assets to the sales team. This will require building a relationship with our print vendor and continually assessing the use and effectiveness of our print spend.
You will be a core member of the meeting planning team. You will be a big part of our national meetings as well as facilitate any marketing level meeting.
Effectively facilitate and manage our budget process with the marketing managers. While you will not ‘own’ all of the marketing spend, you will be responsible for knowing where and what we are spending on and be able to communicate that situation quickly.
How will you get here?
2-4 years of work experience in marketing, business operations, tradeshows, or similar experience is preferred but not required
Be prepared to submit a portfolio of your work as part of the interview process.

You are organized, proactive and take attention to detail personally. This role is in the details and you are master of your domain. This team is high energy, passionate about what we do and demand excellence. You will be asked to make sound decisions and know when it is not your decision to make. Whether it is planning a meeting or executing a tradeshow, the details matter. Do you like lists?
You must have exceptional relationship building skills. You need to have good people skills to ensure that you build a rapport with the team. Collaboration and engagement are key in this role as you are working on multiple projects across the department and organization. Your ability to create and foster effective relationships at the home office will be vital to your success.
You thrive in dynamic environments and deal well with ambiguity. Our commercial world is fast-paced. This role will require you to excel at the tasks directly in front of you, while also keeping your eye on the big picture. If you are expecting your manager to give a task list, this is not the job for you. You need to consistently asking ‘how can I make this better?’
You are smart and learn quickly. We do science and medicine here. It’s cool if you don’t have any experience in biotech but you will need to learn our business and some of the details will be technical. You must have the smarts and willingness to get up to speed quickly. While it might seem not that important, having a knowledge of our product and goals will only make your impact stronger.
