Expectations for the Portland -based Inventory Administrative Assistant :
Cummins Sales and Service is looking for an experienced Inventory Administrative Assistant for the Portland Distribution Center. The inventory administrative assistant provides administrative support for Portland PDC management and is responsible for core processing for Alaska,Washington and Oregon branches, Portland PDC, and processes returns for all dealers in the Northwest areas of the Pacific Region
Responsibilities to include:
Process all outgoing cores, including writing and processing BOL’s
Manage all factory core credit discrepancies for assigned territory
Communicate with stakeholders as required regarding core shipments
Provide assistance to dealers with core processing issues and questions
Reconcile all cores for the Portland PDC
Processes all paperwork for dealer part returns
Communicate with dealers as required regarding return processing
Order and maintain office and warehouse supplies
Provide minor financial support: count cash register, monitor cash aging report, make bank and check deposits
Monitor payroll and adjust employee hours when needed

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two years administrative experience preferred
One year customer service experience preferred
Ability to adopt and demonstrate Cummins values
Compensation and Benefits
Base hourly rate commensurate with experience.
