How will you make an impact?
The Diagnostic Printing Associate is responsible for performing printing duties in accordance with customer specifications.
What will you do?
Setup for daily production while maintaining the safety rules.
Act as operator for the production of printed diagnostic slides and production ovens.
Responsible for related tasks in One-up, Cell-Line, Merck, and PLP.
Operate the pad printer, and complete hand printing.
Read & understand work orders & drawings to insure highest quality possible.
Make daily entries into JD Edwards taking care to insure materials are issued correctly to maintain an accurate inventory.
Know the location to retrieve the materials necessary to produce each order (ink & glass).
Maintain machinery and have the ability to do minor repairs.
Keep the work area clean to insure a safe work environment.
Participate in and support PPI projects as requested
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Maintain a clean working area.
Trouble shoot printing issues, and have some mechanical aptitude.
When work flow changes, be able to catch, pack and operate etch washing machines.
How will you get there?
Able to follow instructions and written procedures as directed.
Read and understand work orders and drawings.
Must be able to read, write & understand English
Basic Mathematical and Computer skills
Vision correctable to 20/20
Ability to accurately use calipers to compare to product drawings.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
Standing and sitting for extended periods of time during a 10-hour shift.
Lifting up to 35 lbs.
Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:
- High school diploma/GED and equivalent work experience required
