AsAssistant Director of Finance, you will help to lead the Finance department andassociated operations such that account management, department andinterdepartmental and vendor relations are managed to optimize the hotelsprofitability. You will provide periodic reports to the Cluster Director ofFinance; specifically you will be responsible for performing the followingtasks to the highest standards:

•Ensure the balance sheets arein fair reflection of the assets and liabilities

•Provide reliable financial datafrom which the operation management can make commercial decisions

•Prepare financial analysis forGeneral Manager and Executive team to implement recommendations forprofitability increase

•Prepare accurate reporting forOwner and ad-hoc comments on operational performance

•Assist Heads of the Departmentto improve their financial awareness and provide them with relevant financialinformation for their operations

•Help to drive Heads of theDepartment to maximize performance on the Finance Balanced Scorecard

•Take the lead in Forecast andBudget preparation and keep timeline and accuracy

•Perform monthly payroll auditswith HR for the Cluster before each salary payment

•Review and approve CapitalExpenditure projects

•Develop best practices infinancial accounting and control procedures and continually review the processand procedures to maximize impact and efficiency

•Comply with corporate reportingrequirements and local statutory/fiscal requirements with cooperation ofCluster Chief Clerk and Owners Accountant

•Comply with Hilton Worldwidepolicies and procedures

•Help to supervise the TeamMembers and help them with problems and their daily work

•Organize and chairsDepartmental Communication meetings

•Perform 1 to 1 meetings andPersonal Development reviews bi-annually with the Finance team; train anddevelops the accounting Team Members

•Act in accordance with fire,health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures when required

Itwould be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the followingcapabilities and distinctions:

-Relevant degree, in Finance, Accounting or related business discipline, from anacademic institution

- Fullunderstanding of financial operating systems and procedures

-Previous experience in the hospitality industry

- Provensupervisory experience

- Leadershipskills, inter-personal and communication skills

-Excellent analytical skills

-Previous experience in the Account/Finance Management

-Previous experience with the SunAccounting and/or Navision

-Previous experience with Opera PMS

-Knowledge of commercial business, especially as it relates to hotel management
