What is the job about?
Design and development of big data projects
Complete project life cycle on integration projects: analysis, design, implementation, testing, support in product development and/or service projects
Your everyday work would be:
Define big data architecture, make and communicate architecture decisions
Propose big data infrastructure
Design data model and queries
Implement analysis and machine learning use cases
Communicate customer requirements
Validate project plan and estimates
Prototyping key/most difficult concepts
Perform technical and development QA
Support presales process
You should have knowledge of:
Big data architectures and patterns
Latest technology trends and frameworks used in big data
Implementation of big data technologies and applications
Applied knowledge of some Hadoop distributions - Apache, Hortonworks or Cloudera
Programming Mapreduce and integration/consolidation queries in Scala (or Java or Python), Spark and (SparkML welcome)
Applied knowledge of mainstream big data technologies: Parquet, Hive, HBase, Zepellin, Mahout, Ambari, Tableau etc.
Fluent knowledge of Czech/Slovak
English - intermediate
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
