Manages a team of external statisticians/analysts supporting development and implementation of analytical framework, tools, and processes enabling marketing managers to optimally allocate their budget within specific channel and/or segments. Identifies relevant techniques, procedures, and methodologies to evaluate new and existing programs leveraging array of data sources.. Actively involved in the development of new procedures and products.

Fundamental Components included but are not limited to:

Manages an external team of statisticians/analysts (on and/or off shore) in executing day to day operations of the team with emphasis on supporting specific line of business (eg. Small Group, Medicare) in order to provide data driven decision making process for maximizing return on marketing investment. Formulates and implements long term modeling initiatives (eg. predictive modeling, segmentation, price elasticity, life time value) as well as other relevant advanced analytical procedures. Identifies and leads analytical process improvement initiatives including, but not limited to, data sources, targeting techniques, test and learn initiatives, reporting and monitoring of marketing campaigns and efforts. Partner with other functional teams to identify and develop analytical tools necessary to execute new strategies and initiatives. Lead and build statistical models (eg. response, profitability, life time value, etc) for different products and channels by applying advanced statistical modeling techniques such as logistic regression, ordinary linear regression, generalized linear models, etc. Develops customer and portfolio segmentation by applying different segmentation techniques such as CHAID, k-mean clustering, hierarchical clustering, etc.

Qualifications Requirements and Preferences:

Strong analytical skills used to identify and resolve problems.1 or more years of experience in analytical role supporting marketing analytics in the healthcare insurance or consumer finance industry.Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.Ability to conceptualize business problems, execute solutions, and present findings in a simple manner.Ability to utilize statistical and/or technical tools to analyze and solve business problems.5 or more years of experience using SAS, SQL.Excellent understanding of test and learn initiatives and other statistical techniques used to provide analytical support.Experience in manipulating large datasets and samples.7+ years of directly relevant experience in quantitative business analysis role(s) (preferably in the insurance industry or consumer finance industry). BS or MS degree in a relevant quantitative area such as, but not limited to, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business, Physics, etc.

Functional Skills:

Information Management - Object Relational Database Systems (ORDMS), Information Management - Statistical and data model designs, Marketing - Dbase marketing, Marketing - Direct marketing

Technology Experience:

Database - IMS (Information Management System), Development Tool - Imaging Systems, System Management - Technical Troubleshooting

Required Skills:

General Business - Ensuring Project Discipline, Leadership - Developing and Executing Strategy, Technology - Selecting and Applying Technology Solutions

Desired Skills:
