Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. A/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.

The NAA Solution Engineering SCM Product Enablement Product Program Lead is responsible for driving Solution Engineering (SE) product enablement programs, innovation and overall support and direction for our North America Applications (NAA) SE team.
The top candidate will have experience in defining and developing innovative SCM Cloud product learning programs focused on human centered design, optimized adult learning, and connecting deep SCM product expertise with the business world.
SE Programs is a vital function within NAA with the key goal of improving overall productivity. This will be accomplished by equipping Oracle s SE organization with the ability to successfully sell, deliver, and support Oracle products, technologies, and solutions.
This position will partner with the NAA SE ERP leaders, the Oracle Sales & Partner Academy (OSPA) team and other internal groups (e.g. Product Marketing, Product Development, Strategy, HR, etc.) to support the design, build, deployment of Level 2 and Level 3 product training and validations. Build and deliver new product release content. This individual will also coordinate Level 4 hands-on SCM Cloud Product workshops.
The candidate needs to establish/refine programs, as well as lead and manage execution. This is a highly organized and programmatic professional who has experience devising and running similar programs.

Understand product, sales skills, industry and competitive training needs and drive execution using all resources available (OSPA, SEs, Industry Team, Product Mgmt, Market Readiness Team, etc.)
Assist with researching, reviewing and recommending new product learning programs
Assist with organization communication
Track compliance for mandatory SE product validations
Ensure alignment of OSPA to SE enablement activities with key internal and external events, such as new product releases, GTM campaigns

Determine opportunities for improving the SE learning experience, and identify innovative techniques for delivery and consumption
Develop and manage a budget making recommendations for programs based on competing organizational priorities and maximization of revenue
Measure and report on the effectiveness of SE program investments. KPIs should be measured monthly, quarterly, and annually with trending and analysis applied to the results
Solution Engineering Field Experience.
Candidates with strong experience and knowledge in Oracle SCM and supporting technology.
Knowledge of enterprise applications, web technology, Cloud applications and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions is a plus
Experience implementing and/or demonstrating SCM software.
Previous work experience in a sales, pre-sales, product management, or consulting role will also be considered
Comfortable presenting to executive audiences
Ability to work as part of a team to solve problems in varied organizational environments
Exceptional oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
Travel can be anywhere in North America from 10-15% of the time.
