Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

Come join Oracle Cloud Infrastructure s (OCI) Demand planning team owning capacity planning responsibilities for a major product. This is a key role that owns end-to-end demand planning to support all Oracle IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS customers. OCI is looking for a driven, strategic, analytical and experienced demand planning manager with demonstrated experience driving and delivering results. This person will be responsible for delivering a monthly forecast for multiple hardware skus in all Oracle cloud regions, driving forecast automation, improved accuracy, and executive content for the hardware demand plan. The ideal candidate will need strong analytical, cross-team collaboration, and influencing skills and be a long-term strategic thinker that can execute and deliver quickly. This role is located in Seattle, WA.
Deliver the full monthly demand forecast for all Oracle customers on a workload
Partner with capacity management, infrastructure supply planning and business analytics teams
Evaluate engineering roadmaps to assess demand and supply impacts from feature launches, efficiency initiatives, and service launches/discontinuations
Partner with hardware engineering teams and infrastructure supply planning on the evaluation, design and demand impact of new hardware skus (decision support)
Create and build executive content to synthesize growth plans and drivers; be the subject matter expert in the data to influence plans
Define and build KPIs to measure and improve accuracy across internal teams
Represent the workload demand plan in reviews
7 years of experience in demand/ business planning
Expertise in demand planning, operations, and forecasting for a mid- to large-sized company
Degree in Finance, economics, or related subject prefered
Stellar verbal and written communication skills
Data and analytical skills to define key drivers and improve forecast accuracy
Project management skills to lead projects and generate clarity with cross-functional teams
