The Amazon Marketing and Merchandising Specialist will support the growth of Hasbro sales by creating timely and compelling digital marketing programs and merchandising statements on Amazon. This role will be responsible for being a liaison between sales, external partners, US marketing and the account to effectively execute retailer specific merchandising and promotional initiatives. The Amazon Marketing and Merchandising Specialist will ideate, implement, and analyze best in class online marketing statements through product detail page execution, digital merchandising and brand specific content to commerce initiatives. This key member will also partner with regional counterparts to lead alignment opportunities globally.

A day in the life of an Amazon Marketing and Merchandising Specialist:

  • Secure and Implement key digital merchandising placements such as homepage placements, corporate sponsorships and promotional placements on Amazon to support growth of Hasbro sales

  • Create, manage and audit best-in-class product detail pages inclusive of copy, images, videos and A+ (rich media) content

  • Work closely with global counterparts to ensure global strategic alignment as well as to drive global programs with US as the lead.

  • Development and execution of innovative digital merchandising vehicles such as brand page destinations to maximize sales and to support brand strategies

  • Partner with internal US digital team, and external partners, to create best in case social and content to commerce executions

  • Partner with external search agency to maximize efficiencies and ROI of search buys

  • Creation of Holiday Toy List strategy in partnership with key partners

  • Test new Amazon digital merchandising tools and vendors to constantly “test and learn” best in class executions of product detail pages

  • Liaise with internal departments within US, globally, as well as outside partners (i.e. licensors, agencies, creative services, legal, etc.) to maximize ROI of Hasbro programs

  • Manage and place sample orders for Amazon Vine Program

  • Management of Amazon Vendor Requests inclusive of Consumer Complaints

  • Creation and dissemination of Amazon Geographical Sales Data report

  • Sharing bi-weekly Global Product Catalog

  • Management of FFP/SIOC certifications

  • Response to Amazon And-on Cord Emails

  • Manage day-to-day activities with external vendor teams

What you'll bring:

  • BA/BS in Business, Ecommerce, Marketing, Advertising or related field

  • Minimum of 1 year of progressive experience or internships in consumer packaged goods marketing preferred.

  • Previous eCommerce experience a plus

  • Strong knowledge of excel

  • Solid understanding of analytic tools

  • Experience in direct marketing to drive sales of consumer package goods

  • Proficiency in social platforms and knowledge of digital marketing best practices
