Oracle Manager Pre-Sales Solution Consulting (General Business) in Providence, Rhode Island

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sales cycle.

As part of the Oracle sales team you will direct and manage pre-sales resources throughout the sales cycle. Provides technical/functional leadership to the sales team in the development and implementation of customer applications and customer products. Participates in account planning and strategy development. May publishes technical information of specific applications and/or technical articles. Works with management to define new products. Serves as the company liaison on specific technical projects with customers.

Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Knowledge of software industry relating to all aspects of ebusiness solutions. Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong presentation skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent.

The Pre-Sales Solution Consultant Manager role is responsible formeeting quarterly and annual quota objectives working in tandem with the DirectSales organization for new customers. As a leader of the General Business West pre-salesteam, you will be the direct manager for 5-7 high-performing individualcontributors. You will add value throughout the sales process and ensure yourteam is supporting the General Business sales teams across the region. You willbring a depth of experience in solution consulting with previous NetSuiteexperience as an asset. You have proven success coaching and mentoring teammembers with a desire to grow and build a team. You will be responsible for driving the strategy for the SC teamsupporting these verticals, deal with escalations, and partner with keyexecutive members in the organization to drive new sales. You enjoy a challenge and can deal well withshifting priorities.

Responsibilities:

Manage and prioritize salesopportunities for a virtual team of high performing individual contributors.

Work cross teams to staffopportunities, track deal progress and provide insights to the solutionsconsultants and sales leadership.

Manage and oversee B2B salescycles, working with internal stakeholders, solution providers, andimplementation partners.

Manage RFI/RFP responses asthey relate to functional requirements and solution fit.

Clearly articulate thebenefits of NetSuite's business applications to all levels, including line ofbusiness managers and "C" level executives.

*Provide input to othercross-functional departments such as Product Management, Client Management,Support and Professional Services - pertaining to customer requests and productenhancements. *

Qualifications/Skills:*

2 years in pre-sales management and/or 6 years in a pre-sales rolewith ERP applications

-{PS..0}->Experience presenting enterprise software applications to prospects aspart of a sales cycle

Hands-on experience with financial and/or supply chain applicationpackages

-{PS..1}->Experience with ERP applications such as NetSuite, Oracle, Peoplesoft,JDA, SAP, IBM, Workday, SAGE, Infor, Intacct, or experience migrating offQuickBooks

Proven ability to mentor and develop solution consultants on key skills(coaching, value selling, storytelling, etc.)

-{PS..2}->Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Ability to work under pressure with competing priorities

-{PS..3}->Previous experience hiring and building a pre-sales team is an asset

BA/MBA or equivalent applicable work experience

Located in Denver, Santa Monica, San Francisco or Austin

Travel: Position may require travelup to 40%
